Robot SM: What, when, who
Sumo Robot, especially mini Sumo: Requirements and rules
Expectation plans ahead
We discussed about the sensors and actuators and MCU selection, showed the parts in Tinkercad, but not doing wiring
Technical solution discussion part 1: Electronic parts selection and system design
Microcontrollers, sensors, actuators
Use Tinkercad to draw a electronic system and wiring
Not taken
Technical solution discussion part 2: Controlling logic and flow
Overall controlling flow and program logic
Evaluation points, decision points
Done
Demo of a prototype Sumo Robot
Good interests from the students in the topic of building a robot and what sensors to select
Good demo
Nice with a new student joining us
The demo worked not all as expected, showing exactly the challenges of the robot running in different result when changing the environment
This is a log as information for today, no need to pay now. We will sum up all the costs to share after finishing the whole Learning Package.
Here is a guideline of cost/fee when learning with us. This Learning Package has both Team A and Team B students in the classroom, the necessary logistics costs are commonly shared.
7 students participated
The variable costs to share: 161.95 Kr
31.95+15 Kr: Fika and snack
115 Kr: Tutor parking 9:15-13:35
The fixed consuming materials costs: 20 Kr/student/session
20 Kr per student: Compensate the consuming cost of tools and materials for projects (like printed paper, stationery, cables, batteries, fragile components, etc.)
So, every participant pays: 161.95/7 + 20 = 43.14 Kr
