We had a 2nd session from LP2346: 3 Weeks Recap & Review, 23w46 today, the main target is to review the basic knowledge of variable and digital signal input, every student today had brought home an interesting product from this PJ007: Wire game with Micro:bit.
It went well with the handwork, we have well prepared for the materials, as well as bending tools and protective gloves. The students could well follow the instruction and made their own variant of the wire-path.
It took a little more time for programming before we finally achieved the working results by everyone.
As a reflection, it's not easy for young learners to recall the learnt knowledge months ago, or tell clearly about the key points... It's a challenge for us who tutor them in a long term perspective, we believe that some more visual working system can keep the interest up and motivate them to continue the learning, we will adjust the later Learning Packages to have an elegant slower pace, we want to enhance every important knowledge point by repeating more, by doing some more relevant projects, we want to enable more "teach and tell" and demo & presentation (by the students) in the session plan.
We have got a good chance for our students to share and demonstrate their wire game products in week 50, for a hundred children friends from other cultural school in their semester ending celebration event, that will be very fun! Looking forward to that!
