This page serves to plan the agenda for the session, then logs the finalized minutes, as well as information necessary for final summary, upon the completion.
Basic knowledge input:
Recap Arduino develop tools and flow KB026: Dev Work Flow for Micro:bit and Arduino, KB027: Arduino UNO Boards, KB028: Arduino IDE Basic Knowledge
C++ basic syntax, int variable
Serial communication basic knowledge
PJ020: Starting Experience of C++ with Arduino
Task 1: Use Int variables for Blinking LED
Task 2: Serial Communication Sending
Very good starting of the active learning with full seats
Continued fun and challenges with Arduino, inspiring good interests
Good materials prepared
Challenging shift to learn textual coding with C++, especially for younger students and those with less passion on programming
Not nice experience with Arduino having much less actuators or sensors on board, comparing with Micro:bit, we need to build every thing needed
Not found very good tutorials or documents about learning C++ for young students, much are for professions
This is a log as information for today, no need to pay now. We will sum up all the costs to share after finishing the whole Learning Package.
6 students participated
The variable costs to share: 183 Kr
50 + 28 Kr: Snack for fika
105 Kr: Tutor parking 9:46-13:10
The fixed consuming materials costs: 20 Kr/student/session
20 Kr per student: Compensate the consuming cost of tools and materials for projects (like printed paper, stationery, cables, batteries, fragile components, etc.)
So, every participant pays: 183/6 + 20 = 50.50 Kr
10:05-10:45: Discussion, review and recap
10:45-11:40: Project making, the Task 1 was not very made by everyone, but Task 2 was well done by all
10:00-10:30: Recep Arduino tools and development flow
10:40-11:30: Project making, add serial printing in LED blinking project we did last time
