We kicked off the new LP2408: 5 Weeks Learning with Programmable Vehicle, 24w08 today, with a fun exploration of the Kitronik :MOVE Motor for Micro:bit, the students unpacked the box, assemble the vehicle, and start the first experience trying out to let it move. Our small target today was to let it move till the pre-defined destination, and an extra challenge to let is make a L turn at the middle of the map. We have made everything ready with the program, unfortunately, the batteries level was low, we didn't manage to see the vehicles moving in actual situation. However, the tools and materials were brought home by the students, as a homework task, they finally made the vehicles moving at home, what a fun starting of the learning with this! We will gather again next week to compete on the map, and by the way learn some key knowledge points used on that vehicle.
Oh, we also started teaching a little more about KB012: Boolean Logic: AND, OR, XOR, NOT, this seemed to be more difficult to get the students engaged, we will try to break down this learning into several sessions, and add a little bit more every time.

Test drive, still not working... still trying hard
