• 25w12 A New Learning Package Having Fun with Buzzer with Arduino 

• Recap LP2508: Starting Experience of C++ with Arduino, 25w08, take a knowledge quiz

• Basic knowledge input:

  • KB030: Frequency (f), Hertz(Hz), Period(T) 

  • Convert String to Int when receiving in serial communication

• PJ021: Play the Buzzer with Arduino 

  • Task 1: Make A Sound in Specified Frequency

  • Try this if having time: Task 2: Make a Sound in Specified Frequency Input From Serial Port

• Good starting of another interesting learning package! Full seats, and a new visiting student trying to join us

• Well prepared project instruction and materials

• Some fast students try more creative explorations in the class, most of them have done task 2, too

• The classroom with projector is still available, room renovation not started yet, good for our learning

• There are sometimes uncomfortable noisy sounds when the students are trying the project and the codes don't run as expected, ear protection needed -> we use a press button to cut off the buzzer when the test is not running, and use tape to cover the buzzer to reduce the noise

This is a log as information for today, no need to pay now. We will sum up all the costs to share after finishing the whole Learning Package.

• The variable costs to share: 162.90 Kr

  • 34.95 + 27.95 + 13 Kr: Snack for fika

  • 87 Kr: Tutor parking 9:47-12:38

• The fixed consuming materials costs: 20 Kr/student/session

  • 20 Kr per student: Compensate the consuming cost of tools and materials for projects (like printed paper, stationery, cables, batteries, fragile components, etc.)

• So, every participant pays: 162.90/7 + 20 = 43.27 Kr

• 10:05-10:45: Recap last learning package 

• 10:45-11:50: Project making, discussion, mostly done as planned, but a little longer time spent

• 10:00-10:30: 

  • Recap the last learning package, by taking the quiz together

  • Introduction of the new learning package

  • Knowledge input: Sound and frequency

• 10:40-11:30:

  • Project making: PJ021: Make Music Box with the Buzzer and Arduino  task 1, and optionally task 2
