This page serves to plan the agenda for the session, then logs the finalized minutes, as well as information necessary for final summary, upon the completion.
START A BIT > Learning Packages > LP2536.A: PWM Output, 25w36 > This page
Recap well done as planned, but we did it on white board: A full picture of digital input/output, analog input/output, and introduce the concept of PWM as an approach for analog output
PJ026: The Dimmable LED with Arduino
Task 1: Use PWM to Dim LED - All students have done
Task 2: Dimming and Flashing LED - Part of the class tried this
Recap:
KB032: Analog Input/Output - only review the learnt analog input part
Basic knowledge input:
KB032: Analog Input/Output - PWM and analogWrite() in Arduino
PJ026: The Dimmable LED with Arduino
Task 1: Use PWM to Dim LED
Task 2: Dimming and Flashing LED
We recap the knowledge by drawing a full picture on the whiteboard and explain verbally, so we touched the digital input/output, analog input/output, and introduce the PWM approach for analog output, all seemed well touched
Review the learnt analog input part
PWM and analogWrite()
PJ026: The Dimmable LED with Arduino
Task 1: Use PWM to Dim LED - Everyone has one this
Task 2: Dimming and Flashing LED - Half of the class tried this, optional task
PJ026: The Dimmable LED with Arduino
Task 1: Use PWM to Dim LED
Task 2: Dimming and Flashing LED
Not touched.
No specific activity planned, will use the questions from the project instruction page to spontanously check
Great starting session after the summer vocation, most of the existed students continue the seats!
Active project making by all students, every one is engaged, even though in different depth
A creative student even tried manual PWM by using digitalWrite() HIGH and LOW by his own calculated duty-cycle, and showed working
Good fika
Still found a few students just followed what we told them to, not enough proactive analysis and thinking, even though they can still make the task result OK
Classroom entrance code expired after the summer just 2 days before this session, very risky of missing. It happens every year after summer, need extra attention to check and confirm the new passcode
A little hurrying preparation of the learning content in details before the session starting, our volunteers tutors are too busy...
This is a log as information for today, no need to pay now. We will sum up all the costs to share after finishing the whole Learning Package.
Here is a guideline of cost/fee when learning with us.
6 students participated
The variable costs to share: 169.45 Kr
35+15.5+20.95 Kr: Good snack this time for the first session after summer
98 Kr: Tutor parking 9:30-12:40
The fixed consuming materials costs: 20 Kr/student/session
20 Kr per student: Compensate the consuming cost of tools and materials for projects (like printed paper, stationery, cables, batteries, fragile components, etc.)
So, every participant pays: 169.45/6 + 20 = 48.24 Kr
