We taught the basic usage of servo motor in order to provide better playful features for the semester ending project, here is the basic project to learn how to control servo motor. The parked knowledge is the PWM encoding, which is far too much for those students to understand, but luckily, the MakeCode programming blocks have good implementation providing a children friend interface, we just need to fill in the required angle to rotate, that is it!
This is fun, and it's super good to have such interesting "robotic" feature to keep the students in good interest here. Below are some of the homework done by the students, the project setup is simple, the requirement is to press a button to let the servo motor rotate a specific angle, one pressing triggers one stepping.
