This page serves to plan the agenda for the session, then logs the finalized minutes, as well as information necessary for final summary, upon the completion.
Recap basic knowledge of C++ syntax, char variables, if-else
PJ020: Starting Experience of C++ with Arduino
Task 3: Serial Communication Receiving, Make Echo
Task 4: Use Received Char to On/off LED, not including challenges
Interesting serial communication project
Positive group learning and mutual help in the class
The Arduino built-in LED is small and a little hard to observe the test result -> solved by coupling an external wired LED using the same pin as built-in LED
Still not got good online documentation for kids learning C++, keep searching
The students don't have good habit of reading documents
We changed to studio 2 room today, because the renovation in studio 1, the temporary projector is not good, very low resolution, and hard to setup a right and good angle for projecting
This is a log as information for today, no need to pay now. We will sum up all the costs to share after finishing the whole Learning Package.
7 students participated
The variable costs to share: 135 Kr
38 Kr: Snack and fika
97 Kr: Tutor parking 9:40-12:48
The fixed consuming materials costs: 20 Kr/student/session
20 Kr per student: Compensate the consuming cost of tools and materials for projects (like printed paper, stationery, cables, batteries, fragile components, etc.)
So, every participant pays: 135/7 + 20 = 39.29 Kr
10:13-10:40: Prepare for the new temp classroom, and review knowledge
10:40-11:45: Project making for serial receiving, some slower students have done Task 3 only, some students also have finished Task 4
10:00-10:30: Recap and review
10:30-11:30: Project making for serial receiving, optional task to use the received char to control built-in LED on/off
