• 24w38 An Exciting Opening of LP2438 with More Learners 

• Kick off new learning package with newcomers, demo the main projects

• LED matrix coordinates, control blocks for single dot

• Gesture sensors and controlling

• Project: PJ014: The Blinking Dot (take basic tasks in the class, take challenge topic as homework)

• Exciting starting of the new Learning Package

• New friends joining, we have more learners

• Good preparation of the course and projects, good demo of the main projects results for the whole Learning Package

• Challenging making for some students, especially the algorithm of Hz to time period converting, and the basic understanding of Hz

• Challenging to handle such many young learners together, not easy to keep them focused on the projects making

• Lack of document reading in general, need to find a better way to let them explore and read to find answers

• Not enough time for the challeng topic of PJ014, need to move to next session

This is a log as information for today, no need to pay now. We will sum up all the costs to share after finishing the whole Learning Package.

• The variable costs to share: 172.70 Kr

  • 19.9 + 27.9 + 29.9  Kr: Fika snack

  • 95 Kr: Tutor parking 9:41-12:51

• The fixed consuming materials costs: 20 Kr/student/session

  • 20 Kr per student: Compensate the consuming cost of tools and materials for projects (like printed paper, stationery, cables, batteries, fragile components, etc.)

• So, every participant pays: 172.7/8 + 20 = 41.59 Kr

• 10:25-11:05: Project PJ014

  • Task 1: Create A Random Dot Blinking in 1 Hz 

  • Task 2: Change Blinking Hz by Button A/B

• 11:10-11:50:

  • Continued Task 2

  • Task 3: Button A+B to Change Random Position 

• Challenge topic was not started at all

• 10:05-10:35: Welcome and introduction

  • Check in

  • Introduction of this new Learning Package

  • Demo of today's project PJ014: The Blinking Dot 

  • "Knowledge Preparations" part in PJ014

• 10:35-11:30: Main project making time

  • Task 1: Create A Random Dot Blinking in 1 Hz 

  • Task 2: Change Blinking Hz by Button A/B

  • Fika included during the project making, expected to be around 10:50-11:05, better to get Task 2 done (or almost completed) before fika

  • Task 3: Button A+B to Change Random Position 

• 11:30-11:50: A student needs to leave by 11:30, so here is flexible and extended time

  • Continue making basic tasks working by tutoring and mutual help
