WELL COMPLETED
START A BIT > Learning Packages > This page
This package bases on pre-learning with LP2402: 4 Weeks Package with Wire Game 2G, 24w02, the students are already familiar with basic things like Micro:bit V2 board programmable board, and KB006: Digital Signals, Basic Concept . In this 5-weeks learning, we intent to add obvious deeper knowledge, we try to introduce the logic operations, the basic key knowledge points while playing with the fun programmable vehicle Kitronik :MOVE Motor for Micro:bit .
This package is well completed in week 12, below information is already updated based on the actualized activities, so to document what we have achieved.
Boolean logic knowledge and exercise
Programmable vehicle experience, with fun activities, while learning very basic knowledge
Electric motor, DC motor
Ultrasonic sensor and object detection
Infrared light sensor and lane following
While-do looping logic
Use Functions to structure program, practice functions with return values
Practice "Group Programming / Group Work" for the challenges, as well as troubleshooting
Click the link of each session heading for detailed plan & log.
Introduction of the new Learning Package
New knowledge input: Boolean Logic operations (or, xor, and, not) knowledge input and exercise
Introduction to the programmable vehicle, the first experience to let the vehicle move
Recap: Boolean Logic operations (or, and, not), and introduce xor, animation, exercise
New knowledge input: How does DC motor work (KB013: DC Motor )
Programmable vehicle experiences: The 1st challenge to let the vehicle move to pre-defined destination, optionally with an angle turning in the middle, pause, light indication, and horn at the turning
Recap: Boolean Logic operations (or, xor, and, not)
Recap: KB013: DC Motor
New knowledge input: KB016: Ultrasonic Sensor, and IR light sensor for line following
Programmable vehicle experiences:
Recap: PJ009.3: Help MOVE vehicle finding a way out, the algorithm, while-do looping logic
New project: PJ009.4: Help MOVE Vehicle Avoiding Collision, the algorithm and design logic, and make the result happening
Knowledge input: KB017: Line Following Algorithm, based on PJ009.2: Collect MOVE vehicle sensors data, line following algorithm analysis
New project: PJ009.5: Make MOVE Vehicle Line-Following part 1/2, try to implement the main structure and prototype. the 2nd half part to make a working result, planned in next session.
Visitor learners joined us, fun communication and mutual learning
Continued project: PJ009.5: Make MOVE Vehicle Line-Following part 2/2, try to make a working result, test and fine tune, discuss and reflect.
