Your trained model talks to your board. Open a model you trained in Teachable Machine, connect your Micro:bit or Arduino, and what the camera sees goes to the board as a word. The pictures stay on this computer.

First time? Test without training: press Start at 2, then No model: a colour rule at 1, hold something red in the middle of the picture, and connect your board at 3. The black box shows → red when the word goes out.

How the board gets the words

The app sends the class name and a new line, like red. In when the board asks mode the board sends ? and the app answers with what it sees now: a sorting machine asks once the object lies still. Only answers that are sure enough and steady for a few pictures are sent.

Micro:bit by Bluetooth: in MakeCode add the bluetooth extension, start the UART service, and in Project Settings choose No Pairing Required. Read with bluetooth uart read until new line.
Arduino by Bluetooth: an HM-10 (BLE) module on two pins with SoftwareSerial, at 9600; its RXD pin needs 3.3 V (a 1 kΩ and a 2 kΩ resistor). Read lines with readStringUntil('\n'). In the list it is often called HMSoft or BT05.
USB cable: works with both boards in Chrome or Edge on a computer. Micro:bit: serial at 115200; Arduino: Serial.begin(9600).

Bluetooth and the USB cable work in Chrome and Edge on a computer, not on phones or in Safari.
